In
an endeavor to inculcate the spirit of internationalism with in the classroom and
help learners gain an insight into the political system of France and India, the
ISA Activity ‘Connaissons la
France’ was organised in class X.
19 students participated in the activity and completed a
project comparing the structure and functioning of the governing polity of the
two countries.
In
groups, learners prepared PowerPoint presentations and shared their research
findings. Their peers assessed their presentations, which in turn, made it a valuable
learning experience.
Fostering
and strengthening the research skills of students and expanding their knowledge
base, the activity was certainly an enriching one.
